If you’re on the fence about an engagement session, keep in mind—they will 100% get you more comfortable in front of the camera by time the big day rolls around. Plus, it’s a mini adventure with the love of your life, so that’s a nice little perk.

FAQ’s

What should I wear?

Neutrals, earth tones, solid colors (or pretty prints that aren’t TOO distracting) are your best bet, but I’ll provide more direction when we land on a location.

How does payment work?

Weddings + Elopments: I require $500 retainer upon the time of booking and the rest of the balance is due the month of the wedding. I OFFER PAYMENT PLANS!!

Sessions: Half down to book and the rest of the balance is due on the day of the shoot OR 3 separate payments.

Do you travel?

Yes, yes, YES. Shoot me an email to inquire about sessions outside of New Mexico and West Texas. 100% here for it!

Do you use props?

If you wanna ride up on your motorcycle, pop the bubbly, or carry a bunch of blooms, I’m here for it. Anything else and we’re venturing into cheese territory, which isn’t as fabulous as it sounds. Instead, we’ll run, jump, dance, or do whatever it is that gets us in the zone and keeps it flowing naturally.

Should I hire a professional makeup artist and hair stylist for my shoot?

Go all out or keep it natural, it’s up to you. If you are interested in hiring a professional, I’m happy to offer local recommendations.

Can you help me find the perfect location for our shoot?

Of course. Just a few fave shoot locations are the mountains in Ruidoso, Palo Duro Canyon, Ransom Canyon, and White sands. Parks, lakes, forests, or fields of wildflowers = instant winners too. If you’re totally unsure, check out my galleries. Also, don’t get so caught up in the perfect location. As long as it has stellar light, we are Gucci.

Let’s just keep it to us—the subjects and the photog—and here’s why: we’re trying to capture your personal relationship, and we want things to unfold as naturally as they would with no one around.
